ANTIPARFUM + «Dummes Holz»

As part of Every Contact Leaves a Trace, the Bachelor and Master Exhibition for Institut Kunst HGK FHNW, artist Maeva Rosset is presenting a creation, in collaboration with perfumer Giovanni Sammarco, ANTIPARFUM: An Olfactive Translation of an Artistic Practice. For the Kunsthalle exhibition, Rosset will also present her new sculptural series: «Dummes Holz». Rosset & Sammarco also created a particular perfume for the sculptures inspired by the taste of blood.

Paper Passion

The Paper Passion perfume conceived for Handmade 2011, which bottles the seductive scent of a freshly printed books, was inspired by a throwaway line by German publisher Gerhard Steidl in the film How to Make a Book with Steidl, which suggested his favourite scent was a ‘freshly printed book’. INVERSES is a multi-sensory project and collaboration between six artists in five countries, who have been working on it for the past 2 years. The result is a set of items consisting of an illustrated storybook, a soundtrack, and a trio of custom scents, which all share a common narrative on the journey of a roving cardboard box. INVERSES

INVERSES is a multi-sensory project and collaboration between six artists in five countries, who have been working on it for the past 2 years. The result is a set of items consisting of an illustrated storybook, a soundtrack, and a trio of custom scents, which all share a common narrative on the journey of a roving cardboard box. The first edition was released in August 2015.
