In the context of our ethnographic research projects we learnt to explore scent as a creative way of life. We actually learnt this from people in the field. In particular, we learnt this from Christophe Laudamiel, a very special scent maverick whom we have been happy to follow (as an ethnographer puts it). Thus, it is a suitable claim for the new website scentculture.tube. The website will provide access to edited ethnographic data we were able to generate in the field with Christophe Laudamiel in New York and Berlin. What we are particularly happy about are several videos capturing the mundane as well as the extraordinary in the work practice of this remarkable scent maverick…Today we are very excited to share a first snapshot as the featured image of this post. The launch of this new platform is scheduled for mid-May.
The website is part of the science communication project supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation and conducted at Bern University of Applied Sciences.
