Little Trees seem to be ubiquitous these days. Some time ago we saw one of these “littletrees” used by colleague as a de-odorizer in his work bag:

It might be a single case. Yet, smell in bags can be a real issue. And a low-tech solution is often an attractive option and there are even Swiss alternatives to the “litte trees”. Today, I found out about a gym bag that aims at using UV light and Oxygen to deodorize and sanitize a bag and its contents.
