ANTIPARFUM + «Dummes Holz»

As part of Every Contact Leaves a Trace, the Bachelor and Master Exhibition for Institut Kunst HGK FHNW, artist Maeva Rosset is presenting a creation, in collaboration with perfumer Giovanni Sammarco, ANTIPARFUM: An Olfactive Translation of an Artistic Practice. For the Kunsthalle exhibition, Rosset will also present her new sculptural series: «Dummes Holz». Rosset & Sammarco also created a particular perfume for the sculptures inspired by the taste of blood.

17.2m3 Bümpliz

Marta Kwiatkowski is currently cuarting the art project 17,2m3 Bümpliz, which uses 3 identical transparent cubes to cultivate and concentrate a kind of collective cultural memory trough the interpretation of smell. The project will take place during the big city festival of Bern in August. The artists are Lea-Nina Fischer, Esther Tellenbach, Tamara Hauser, Selina Hofer, Salima Hänni, and Stefanie Janssen. Osmodrama Festival for Olfactory Art in Berlin

Osmodrama is the art of timebased composing and storytelling with scents via Smeller 2.0. — Smeller 2.0 is a functional artwork and electronic medium for the creation, recording and projection of distinct scent-sequences in collective experience. This opens up a new practice of olfactory art: Osmodrama. The first festival of its kind is now on schedule in Berlin, from 15th July until 18th September 2016.
